Mondays from 8:30am to 12:00pm

The McKenzie's Clothing Closet is open to everyone every Monday from 8:30am to 12:00pm and the second Saturday of every month. We also provide a sack lunch for our neighbors every Monday. The Listening Cafe happens while the closet is open on Mondays.

Second Saturday of the Month

On the second Saturday of each month, the clothing closet is open and there is food available through Farm Share from 8:30am to 12:00pm.

Volunteer Workdays
Help us restock the clothing closet on Wednesdays from 11:00am to 4:00pm. You and your friends could help supply the sack lunches.

Serve in our clothing closet and serve sandwiches on Mondays or serve on Wednesdays to restock the clothing closet

For many years, the people of Calvary United Methodist Church in Tallahassee have sought to serve their neighbors through a variety of ministries. As the needs of the clothing closet and the food distribution ministry have grown, there has been a need for more support and more volunteers from local churches, other community partners, and individuals throughout the area.

So in 2018, Big Bend Front Porch Ministries was launched to the support the ministry of McKenzie's Clothing Closet, a Listening Cafe, Wisdom's Wellspring, monthly FarmShare, and future ministries for years to come.
